Eligibility restriction:  Applicants must be pursuing, or plan to pursue, a four-year bachelor degree with a focus on cybersecurity, information assurance or similar field in the fall of 2025, and have a GPA of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.

This posting covers “nursing care and health equity” – the nuts and bolts of the nursing profession in terms of education and daily practice. As with most Research Assistant postings, literature reviews are central and will “include appraisal of qualitative and quantitative research, data collection and analysis, and manuscript and presentation development”. Unique in this posting, however, is an offer of entry-level training on relevant digital academic research platforms: “f required, the RA will be provided training to work with various tools and software such as NVivo, Covidence, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft PowerPoint.”  The job itself is two or three hours a week and, besides experience in the industry being preferred, requires prior completion of an undergraduate degree. If you want to be part of a team at the cutting edge of Canada’s nursing industry, working to “support the principal investigator in disseminating and advancing dissertation research and other studies with research teams”, then this is the job for you.

Eligibility restriction:  Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents, enrolled at a university or college in an academic program related to the planning, design, construction, operations, maintenance and program management of road and highway infrastructure and urban transportation. Applicants must also be enrolled in at least two semesters of full-time studies in the period from September 2025 through August 2026, and have completed at least 50% of their current degree by September 2025.

Advice on the Bachelor of Commerce program. A student asks about the Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources Management program. One student enjoyed the first year, recommending students research course reviews to ensure not too many heavy readings or multiple exam classes are taken at once. Another student says it takes four months to finish a full-time semester if funded and six months if funded by themselves.

Counseling experience is required. A student asks if distress center volunteer experience and retail experience suffice for an application to the MC (counseling) program. Other students say classmates in the MC program had at least two years (often three years) of experience related to counseling. Another student says to investigate the province’s college registration process.
