Eligibility restriction: Applicants must be involved in curling and registered on the Canadian Team Ranking System; must be 23 years of age or younger as of Dec 31, 2017; and must be enrolled full-time for at least two semesters in a Canadian university or college. What’s required: A completed application form, a maximum 2-page essay about curling, a transcript copy, and two letters of recommendation.
Tips: Fewer than 50 applications were received last year, so your odds are good. Check out last year’s winners for inspiration.
