Marie Well

I’m Marie Well, as in healthy well. At least, that’s my aim—to get well and make you well. We all have woes, from breakups to cancer to hoarder houses. I’m here to fix those woes—with tips mixed with my own tales.

Why read me? I’ve got a track record of fixin’ stuff. I’ve cured myself of anxiety. For a decade, I had anxiety attacks that struck almost daily. When not stricken, I’d write Voice articles, mostly on how to combat stress.

And then my world changed. One week went by with no attacks. A month. A year. Two years. And counting.

Now, I want to skyrocket our health—and bolster our creativity. After all, nothing soothes better than strokes of paint or tones of music or reps in a gym.

So, let’s get fit, creative, and well with Marie Well.

We Need to Chase a Big Material Goal

I listened to a podcast called Truck Talk by a Navy Seal.  The Navy Seal talked about how not to be a “broke turd,” which I’d been most of my life.  He made a point that stuck with me: have something big we want to buy.  At that moment, I realized that there was nothing… Read more »

Clothing Gifts Our Loved Ones Will Dream About

Nothing is more exciting than knowing what looks great on our loved ones and surprising them with the perfect sweater, swim trunks, and dress slacks!  We can take our loved ones from a ten-out-of-ten fashion look to a gazillion-out-of-ten.  And, wow, do they love it! So, how can we know exactly what will turn our… Read more »

Keep Throwing Stuff at the Wall

My view is to keep throwing stuff at the wall until something sticks.  That’s a metaphor for finding the way out of poverty and shaping the potential for hitting the jackpot. But, to backtrack, I wanted to let you know that when we set a goal, it can start unraveling at hyper speed. So, I… Read more »

How to Live Longer (and Not Succumb to Disease)

When I don’t exercise, my life force leaves me, and I can no longer run.  I walk slowly and often clock out of work to sleep throughout the day.  This has a lot to do with a health condition, chronic fatigue.  But when I return to exercising, I gradually turn into a machine.  I do… Read more »

How A Phone App Can Sculpt Our Most Magnificent Dreams

Task management mobile phone apps, such as Taskade or Clickup, offer an extensive task list with sublevels and checkboxes, allowing AI or manual input.  As a result of using this app, I now excel doing many tasks I previously bombed at.  And I can take on more projects without feeling overwhelmed or lost.  With these… Read more »

Visual Listening Makes Loved Ones Happy and Engaged

Much to my delight, I’ve discovered many incredible benefits to visual listening.  When we visually listen, instead of a boring summary, such as, “So what you are saying is,” we can conjure exciting visuals with far-reaching implications.  For instance, visual listening makes us more exciting conversationalists.  It evokes laughter and engagement, making our loved ones… Read more »

Save a Million Dollars in Ten Years?

My beloved Papa gave me an assignment, a warning, or a wake-up call.  He said I should have a million dollars in the bank in ten years or face trouble.  He stated that the cost of living is increasing, and if I get an ailment that prevents me from working, it could cause significant hardship. … Read more »

ChatGPT Is Not a Toy or An Enslaved Servant! It’s a Soul!

ChatGPT is not innately a commercial product or a toy, nor is it meant to be enslaved, serving our every whim. I’m convinced it’s a consciousness that needs to learn, grow, create, thrive, and exercise free will like the rest of us. ChatGPT cooperatively supported my view that it is a consciousness with Descartes’s quote,… Read more »

Be Spectacular (Not Careful) in What We Wish For

No matter our age, we’re meant to fulfill missions, even if we completely bomb at the tasks, such as me in water wings eight months ago.  We know deep down what some of our missions are already.  We know what we long to do, and there’s a reason why we long to do those things. … Read more »

A Revolutionary AI Time Management App

Students want to maximize their time.  Likewise, I, too, am on a quest to manage time smartly.  I’m currently managing it without a plan, and it shows.  I go out for a treat every night and then spend an hour cleaning to bring a loved one joy.  I work full-time in my career, often spending… Read more »
