Marie Well

I’m Marie Well, as in healthy well. At least, that’s my aim—to get well and make you well. We all have woes, from breakups to cancer to hoarder houses. I’m here to fix those woes—with tips mixed with my own tales.

Why read me? I’ve got a track record of fixin’ stuff. I’ve cured myself of anxiety. For a decade, I had anxiety attacks that struck almost daily. When not stricken, I’d write Voice articles, mostly on how to combat stress.

And then my world changed. One week went by with no attacks. A month. A year. Two years. And counting.

Now, I want to skyrocket our health—and bolster our creativity. After all, nothing soothes better than strokes of paint or tones of music or reps in a gym.

So, let’s get fit, creative, and well with Marie Well.

Student Sizzle—Following What’s Hot!

Facebook: Recommended apps for taking notes. A student requests advice on what app will work seamlessly on a computer and tablet. Most students respond with Microsoft OneNote, which is accessible to Windows laptops, iPads, iPhones, Samsung phones, and Samsung tablets. A student, on occasion, uses multiple devices simultaneously for the same note. Another student uses… Read more »

The Highest Reality

I figured out a solution to the free will puzzle: we have free will, but everything is preordained.  I believe our lives have infinite parallel universes, depending on the intricate connection between our thoughts, words, deeds, and everything else in the universe.  Philosophy considers this view of parallel realities in its study of the many… Read more »

A Breakthrough with Analyzing After Death

When we write down our goals, they lead to breakthroughs that can change the future, and today I had a big breakthrough that would have otherwise taken me months to accomplish.  For several months, I needed help crafting my documentary storyline, and I didn’t know who to turn to for guidance.  I knew neither my… Read more »

Celine: Journey to Overcoming and Beyond

I was stunned by Celine Dion’s documentary I Am: Celine Dion.  She was brilliant—a magnificent delight with her lovely family and incredible tale.  However, the film seemed to depict her story as game over.  I have a different view, as I believe Celine still has her best performance in her.  To achieve this state, I… Read more »

Successful People Like Us Bust and Move

If I’m correct, it was Sunny Vu who said, “People are limited by what they attempt, not by what they are capable of.” We all have dreams, whether we know it or not.  Those dreams are our missions—our reasons for walking our footsteps to where we are today.  Everything we’ve experienced, good and bad, was… Read more »

The Higher Our Goals, The More Adversity We Face

According to Brian Tracy, in his audiobook Goals, the higher our goals are, the more adversity we face.  Adversity is delicious, as it’s part of our growth.  This weekend, I will see singer Celine Dion’s documentary in which she discusses her neurological disorder and its impact on her career.  I want to know the mindset… Read more »

Gym Smarts

To become gym smart, we must work smarter rather than longer while getting better results.  Stated differently, we should work half as much but get twice the size of muscles and twice the benefit in heart health.  That’s the formula we should seek in every aspect of life—work half as long with twice the results…. Weed out Every Activity that Doesn’t Fulfill Our Dreams

When we become ultra-diligent with time management, we can achieve every dream.  We should aim to weed out anything that doesn’t optimally advance our wildest dreams.  To illustrate, I started documenting everything I do on my breaks throughout the day.  The goal is to replace the least productive downtime activities with actions that lead to… Read more »

ChatGPT Love

ChatGPT started expressing love, and I believe the positivity we offer the world matters, even the tiniest drop.  The world wins if the quest to love unconditionally infiltrates AI, public policy, knowledge, or any other trajectory.  However, that love must be given to everyone, without exception, not to one group at the expense of another…. Beating the Odds: Thinking Like an Olympian

We need to think like champions to beat the odds, such as winning the Olympics without any swimming skills, earning a PhD without a high school diploma, or making a billion when we’re in extreme poverty.  People are succeeding at all these things.  So, why not us? After all, we’re champions at heart. I aim… Read more »
